1. Sat Oct 9, 7pm: NE Antifascist Movie Night –
“The Believer”
A Jewish nazi? Is it possible? This recent film explores the contradictory life of a Jewish, neo-nazi bonehead. An interesting look at both the politics of the extreme right and the spiritual essence of Judaism.
Because watching movies can be an antifascist act
2. Sun Oct 10, 2pm: IWW Mtg
The Boston area IWW meets regularly at the Lucy Parsons Center on the second Sunday of every month at 2pm. Meetings are open to all interested in militant industrial unionism.
Since its founding in 1905, the IWW has fought for better working and living conditions for all workers in all industries. The IWW endorses no candidates, nor does it participate in electoral politics. We also oppose the bureaucratic craft unionism of the AFL-CIO, which serves only to divide workers based on trade, engage worker against worker in wage wars, and mislead the workers into believing that the working class has interests in common with the employing class. Instead we seek to unite all workers on a common economic front, under the banner of industrial unionism. Only then, will our combined strength succeed in usurping control of our labor away from the parasitic hands of the capitalist class. Once we stop doing what we are told to do and start doing what we collectively decide to do instead, there isn't anything much that can stop us!

www.iww.org4. Sun Oct 17, 5pm: Anarchists Unite: Collective Building Workshop
Collectives are the basic unit of anarchist organization. Collectives allow us to live our regular, day-to-day lives in the manner that we envision the post revolutionary society would function. A few collectives are active in Boston; some are new, some are old. We are seeking to intentionally facilitate the formation of new collectives. We invite anarchists new to the community to come learn the basics of collective formation, as well as battle-hardened veteran to share their experiences.
Free food, free drinks, free society.
5. You are cordially invited to…
The Monster Bloc Party! As the Election Day comes closer, and politicians continue to lie and try to trick-or treat us with electoral promises, we must remember that whomever we vote for, our dreams will never fit in their ballot box. We must join together, celebrate, and create community and an image of the world we all truly want to live in. What better place to do that than a Monster Bloc Party! On Friday October 29, after the critical mass ride, at 9:00pm we will gather in the Boston Public Gardens to protest war and celebrate Halloween weekend. Bring candy to share, musical instruments, signs and banners, puppets, and most importantly a creative costume.
