what do people think about me bringing my pirate flag (on a pole)? or laura's that says "P.A.B." on it? We could have the flag for the video camera part. maybe laura's would be best since we have another action and a movie to attend to. ideas?

We could just bring both flags unless we only want to carry one then I think the pirate flag would be best because people wont know so much what "PAB" stands for as they will a pirate flag.
Also, Pirate Daniel M (yajnavalkya), I will be taking the train up to Boston tomorrow from Providence (not sure exactly when yet or where I'll be taking the T to after I get to south station) so you are welcome to join me if that counts as car pooling.
Pirate Eric, Do you want to meet on that same street corner as we did on Flag Day? The Hynes stop on Newbury street? I don't know where the cameras are so that is the only place I can think of right now, knowing it's very close to Captain Laura's house anyway.

we can meet you there if you please. We were thinking we would have the official place be Copley T stop (on stop down from Hynes) and we were thinking we could meet at 1? (that's when my train will be getting in to Back Bay). Captain Laura and First Mate Dan are meeting at Back Bay at 12 (the time his train gets in) so if you are going to be there sooner, go there! Also, Pirate DanArrr may be coming! Unfortunately Pirate Allison now is very sick and can't come, and Pirate Mike D is now busy. Other pirates may show up, but it looks like the 5 of us. Captain Laura and I dumpstered some great cardboard for sign-making, and she also created a beautiful flyer that is 1/4 of a page so we can make alot! Pirate Dan M, please bring the Hamlet you spoke of. Also other pirates may join for the movie.

I, unfortunately, will not be able to make it. Something regarding scheduling issues has arisen at the last moment.
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Okay. So regarding that, these are my plans: Tomorrow I'll be taking the train leaving from Providence at 11:42am and arriving at South Station at 12:55am. From there I'll go to the Park Street stop on the red line and switch to the green line and go to Copley. And then if I don't see any Pirates I will call your cell phone, Pirate Eric.
Yeah I called Pirate Dan ARRR today and told him about the pirate event today, he wasn't sure if he could come or not. But I'll call him tomorrow before I get on the train to find out.
And now I go to sleep dreaming piratey dreams. Pirate Phoebe
P.S. Isn't it convenient that our CSW summer reading book is Treasure Island!

I just wanted to tell everyone that though we had a few surprise cancelations, Pirates Against Bush had a presence at the Park Street T Stop on Wednesday, passing out around 100 flyers, holding 4 signs, and carrying a videocamera to illustrate our point (we filmed the action and the crowd we got.. plus passersby). Unfortunately the movie we planned to see didn't work, so instead we watched one from Indymedia Israel about the Israeli-Palestinian wall. It was good The Venezuelan-Bolivian Revolutions movie is rescheduled (still Wed. still Lucy Parsons. still 7 pm. still free) for September 1st. for anyone interested. We had some interesting conversations with people, including a conservative family, a man voting for bush, a slightly crazy tour guide, a friendly security guard, some comical firefighters, and a slew of supporters! We did not get to the presidental action/theater (for lack of time), though we plan to in the future.
And we rock, because it's us against them, we've found our own reasons to sing.

You should all go check out the photos Pirate Phoebe posted! If you can't read the signs we had four they read:
-ARE YOU A TERRORIST? Cameras are watching! -You are currently being monitored by over 900 security cameras arount the city and in the T. -A survelliance camera in every corporate board room? Who are the real criminals? -REMEMBER: BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING!
Love and revolution, Capt'nLaura
